About
Our local mosque is located east of the campus and south of the duck pond on Lindsey Street. It has undergone several phases of expansion to accommodate the increasing Muslim population in Norman. The Masjid also has an established An-Nur Academy which is a complete school that teaches the disciplines of Islam among other subjects to elementary students (This masjid is under construction at the moment).
Due to construction, Islamic Society of Norman meets at a small room at the intersection of 24th St. and Lindsey.
The Islamic Society of Norman is a welcoming Sunni mosque located in Norman, Oklahoma. This community center offers services in English and aims to create an inclusive environment for worshippers and visitors alike. The mosque provides five daily prayers and Jumu’ah (Friday) prayers, allowing congregants to gather regularly for worship. It emphasizes accessibility, with facilities available for both wheelchair users and families. There is parking on the premises, and amenities for women include a separate prayer space and an Odhu facility. Families are encouraged to participate, as the mosque is kid-friendly, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.

Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) technique, alongside various different behavioral changes, to ensure blind users visiting with screen-readers are able to read, comprehend, and enjoy the website’s functions.
